The European directive relating to payment services (DSP2) brings in new rules in order to reinforce the level of security of electronic retail payments.

Your payment will be protected thanks to two-factor authentication defined by your banking establishment.
This may be a code received by SMS, a password or validation to be made in your bank’s app.

WHAT'S THE AIM ?

When a payment is engaged online using your bank card,

ensure that you were responsible for initiating it and consequently

the risk of fraud as much as possible.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

When making a purchase on the Sephora.fr website and

in the Sephora mobile App, choose your payment method then click “Pay” to complete your order.

You will be taken to your bank’s authentication server to confirm payment for your purchase.

Download the application

your Bank in order to be able to authenticate your purchases.

Follow your bank’s instructions & activate notifications for the app if necessary.

If you do not receive an automatic notification, open your bank’s app in order to validate your authentication directly.

Go back to the Sephora website or app to complete the transaction.
